Where applicable research is done and included in the book. The genealogy of a family can be set out – these to provide a book that is of greater interest to the reader. Taking the raw text and documentation and converting to digital format if necessary, editing, and compiling the manuscript – whilst working together with the client - until the document is ready to be taken forward. Should the client wish to self-publish, this is discussed with them and the arrangements are made, to assist with this process.

As a writer I have submitted two literary works to Ms Jennifer Els. The first one was a novel, A REMARKABLE ALLY which, currently it is being considered for publication. As an editor, I think Ms Els is good at what she does. In a short space of time she edited the book and arranged the setting for it to be ready for printing. The second work that we did together was a play, MADNESS IN HIGH PLACES. Again. I could not fault her professionalism and dedication to her work. The play is being assessed as I write, in London. The results will come out in September. I am currently working on another book, THE BRASS SERPENT. As soon as I finish writing it, I will give to her for editing as well. I will also give her a novel in IsiXhosa, UMNQWENO WENDODA ENDALA, The Old Man's Wish, which I will self-publish. She will set-up for printing and guide me through the self- publishing process.
