Examples of what can be done
THE COOPER FAMILY IN AFRICA
The
family
of
the
late
Neville
Cooper,
who
was
born
in
Kenya
in
1918,
had
a
box
of
documents, type-written notes on his experiences, and albums of photographs.
These were given to Jenny, who together with a lot of research, produced this book.
A PEEP INTO MY LIFE – WILLIAM EASTWOOD
Mary
Drabbe
tells
of
how
her
grandfather’s
book,
written
82
years
previously,
was
given
a
new lease on life.
A
book
she
could
market
and
any
profit
between
printing
costs,
and
the
selling
price,
was
hers.
“It
is
a
piece
of
colonial
history
that
I
believe
should
not
be
lost.
It
is
also
representative
of
the
writing
style
of
the
time.
The
text
has
been
captured
in
the
way
in
which
it
was
written, as an example of the language and style of that era.
To
enhance
the
story,
photographs,
relevant
information,
and
foot-notes
have
been
added.
This
could
only
have
been
done
with
hindsight,
research
and
of
course
the
Internet.

My
thanks
must
go
to
Jenny
Els,
my
editor,
publisher,
advisor,
and
friend
rolled
into
one,
for
her
patience,
her
enthusiasm,
her
wisdom,
and
her
knowledge,
which
she
has
shared
readily,
in
producing
and
editing
this
memoir.
Without
her,
the
rebirth
of
A
Peep
Into
My
Life, would probably never have seen the light of day.”

CATASTROPHE – H V LOREN
A book that the author has published on Amazon Kindle.
Jenny was one of the editors on this project of over 300 pages.
Jenny Els has helped me in the process of publishing this book.
She
has
proven
her
ability
to
edit
in
MS
Word,
including
grammar,
spelling
and
the
use
of
words,
Her
command
of
the
English
language
is
excellent
which
is
to
the
advantage
of
those for whom English is not their first language.
She
takes
a
writer’s
document
directly
through
the
editing,
font
choices
and
layout,
to
a
final
document,
ready
for
the
printers.
She’ll
arrange
everything
up
to
where
a
proud
writer is given the first proof, from which he is able to finally produce the published book.
